here’s how it works…

can you make a 3-minute film on just one roll of super 8 ?

editing only with each pull of your super 8 camera’s trigger ?

with no opportunity for retakes or postproduction….

and submitting your original soundtrack without seeing your film first?

for a decent chance of SCREENING at OUR packed world premieres -where the first time you see your work is with the public at its world premiere?

if the answer is yes, yes, YES. or even: i THINK so.. then you have what it takes to take a crack at the analogue thrill ride that is straight 8

premiere details for 2027 are tbc - but they are always epic - and usually in may but we reserve the right to change that!

what will the other deadlines and prices be and when is the last? the latest delivery deadline will be feb 8 2027 so get cracking soon - they get incrementally more expensive, so now is the most cost-effective

where do i get a camera and film? look at our menu - we have info about cameras, and rent them. we sell film
